GERMANY - JatrophaWorld Hamburg 2008, one of a series of conferences dedicated to providing information from practitioners, scientists and policy makers, will include the main themes of sustainability, agronomy, implementation, financing, policy, social, and technology.It is a networking and information sharing platform, which addresses the various concerns and challenges concerning jatropha curcas cultivation and investments.
The Hamburg conference from 20-22 October will look at what are the best practices in Jatropha agronomy to generate maximum jatropha yield and ROI?
It will investigate small scale against large scale operation jatropha curcas plantation and whether to use plantation or outgrowers.
It will also examined jatropha plantation site selection criteria including country policy, land-use legislation and availability, climate, soil, labour, logistics, how to attract investors and financiers to scale-up projects and questions of sustainability.
JatrophaWorld at Jakarta & Miami had attracted more than 800 participants from over 45 countries, making them part of the largest international gathering of Jatropha Investors, Financiers, Scientists and Agronomists.
