Print This Page Agreement on Solar Power Projects
INDIA - The Haryana Renewable Energy Development Agency is expected to sign agreements with six independent power producers, to generate 12 MW power from solar energy at an estimated investment of Rs 2.4 billion (rupees).R S India Wind Energy and Estonfield Renewable Resources will establish solar power projects of 3 MW capacity each and Epuron Renewable Energy and Azure Power India will set up up solar power projects of 2 MW capacity each.
OmaxAuto Ltd and Selecto Systems will set up plants of 1 MW capacity each. Because these projects are rooftop systems, they do not require any purchase of land, will be commissioned sooner, according to Trading Markets.
The work is expected to be completed by December, 2009.
The power produced will be fed into the State Grid for which the Haryana Electricity Regulatory Commission has already issued the tariff order.
