BioEnergy Europe - Top Event for the Agricultural Sector

GERMANY - Renewable energy has now become established as an important factor in the market. Conservation of natural resources, fuel supply security and cost-effectiveness are major reasons for continuing to develop the restructuring of power and heat pro-duction with decentralised supply concepts.

Combined power and heat generation is assuming a significant role in Germany with energy and climate protection policy tar-gets being achieved through an intelligent combination of conventional and renewable energy.

Innovative, environmentally-friendly technologies are needed and being offered and can be seen at BioEnergy Europe in Halls 24, 25 and 26 at EuroTier from 11-14 November.

More than 200 specialist bioenergy exhibitors, including the world leaders in the renewable energy sector, have booked space within BioEnergy Europe, presenting the latest systems for specialist visitors from all over the world.

Organised in cooperation with VDMA Power Systems, BioEnergy Europe targets both producers of bioenergy and its customers including agricultural and municipal users of heat and power from the whole range of regenerative sources with a wide programme of technical solutions and services. Its coverage of the entire value chain, from bio-mass production right through to the wall socket outlet, radiator or vehicle fuel tank, closes an existing gap in trade communications.

The Future of Bioenergy will see high calibre speakers discuss the future of the business against the background of new solutions.

At the associated BioEnergy Event, which takes place in the Convention Centre in the evening of 12 November, high-calibre speakers from the bioenergy industry present future solutions in a business context.

The Exhibition Programme

The world's top renewable energy event for the agricultural sector presents the following main themes for its international specialist visitors:

  • Production of biogas, solid biofuels, liquid biofuels, energy crops, conditioning, digestion, gas cleaning, gas feed-in, esterification, fuel use
  • Renewable energies in local energy supply
  • Energy engineering
  • Electricity generation, firing technology, combined power/heat generation, heat/cooling technology
  • Ventilation, waste air and waste gas cleaning
  • Recycling and waste disposal systems
  • Safety engineering
  • Energy distribution
  • Electricity, heat and gas distribution systems
  • Measuring and instrumentation technology
  • Process control systems, measuring technology, remote surveillance
  • Energy supply companies and energy materials trade services
  • Services in the planning and operating phase, science and research, general services
  • Production, trade and use of biogenic solid fuels

This first class technological programme is supplemented by a strong framework pro-gramme. DLG cooperates closely here with associations and technical institutions in-cluding:

  • VDMA Power Systems
  • BFL - an organisation devoted to promoting agricultural building construction and optimising livestock management conditions
  • AEBIOM - European Biomass Association
  • BBE - Federal Bio-Energy Association
  • Fachverband Biogas - German Biogas Association
  • KWF - Centre for Forest Work and Technology.

The programme also offers:

  • Presentations and discussion panels in the two full-day forums
  • BioEnergy Technology in Hall 25 and ?Local energy supplies? in Hall 24 with leading representatives from industry, research and development and politics
  • Special focus on gas treatment and gas feed-in heat concepts, treatment of fermentation residues
  • Excursions during the exhibition to bioenergy and local energy supply concepts

The Future of Bioenergy

The BioEnergy Event, which takes place on 12 November at 6.30 p.m in the Convention Centre (CC), includes a programme of international speakers from industry and business presenting their views on the most important aspects of bioenergy develop-ments in the future. This event is organised by the VDMA Power Systems and the DLG.
