Print This Page Bronze Oak Plans Two Ethanol Plants
PHILIPPINES - Bronze Oak Philippines has put forward plans for two bioethanol plants capable of producing 75 million litres a year. in Bukidnon and Tarlac, the company said.
The South Bukidnon ethanol plant will be in Barangay Labuagon in Kibawe, South Bukidnon, while the other will be built on Capas, Tarlac.
They areexpected to be in full operation in two years time, according to a report in the Manila Standard Today.
Buil;ding work on the Capas project is expected to start in the third quarter of this year.
The two ethanol plants will be co-generation facilities and will need 21,000 hectares of sugarcane plantation to ensure sustainability of operations.
The South Bukidnon plant will have a capacity of 45 million litres a year and is expected to cost P4 billion.
The Capas ethanol plant will produce 30 million litres.
