US - Spanish company ACCIONA Energy is preparing to build a new wind farm in Roger Mills County, Oklahoma.
The Dempsey Ridge Wind Farm will have 66 turbines spread over more than 8,000 acres according to a report on News OK.
ACCIONA bought the project from a smaller developer, Virginia-based Generation Energy, in early 2008.
The 132MW wind farm in Roger Mills County, which will cost $300 million, is expected to see building work start in spring 2010.
The company already built the Red Hills Wind Farm near Elk City.
