Print This Page Farm Group Backs Biodiesel Move
AUSTRALIA - According to ABC, the Western Australian Farmers Federation says moves by Australian Renewable Fuels (ARF) to resurrect its south-west operations will boost the state's biofuel industry.The company has announced it is negotiating to secure a multimillion dollar biodiesel contract with a WA resources company.
ARF had to close its Picton operations after the production of biodiesel became non-viable.
Federation president Mike Norton says biodiesel is an area that the farming community has a huge financial interest in.
