Print This Page Brazil Moves up Deadline for Biodiesel Mandates
BRAZIL - According to USAgNet, the Brazilian government has moved up the deadline for the mandatory addition of biofuels to diesel fuel to the year 2010.In January, biodiesel was being blended at a two-percent level and on July 1 that blend raises to three percent.
The ultimate mandate is set at five percent and was originally scheduled to kick in by 2013.
