Print This Page Wind Farm for Eilat Mountains
ISRAEL - Eilat Ashkelon Pipeline Company is to build a 50MW wind farm in the Eilat Mountains.
The project is expected to take between two and three years to complete, according to a report on Israel National News.
The report says that the Israel Civil Aviation Administration is looking into the possibility of interference with flight patterns the project might cause.
EAPC is a government company under the Ministry of Finance and the plans will have to be exemined by the ministry before they go ahead.
The company is expected to use Israeli technology and equipment to build what could be the largest wind farm in the country.
